La Reina Santa Selena (amen) made an old-school educational video about Mexican-American music. Seriously, why wasn’t this shown in all schools across the USA?

In it, she shows kids the history of Tejano & Mexican American music in Texas and California.

No lie. She digs really deep into how the Mexican Revolution, immigration, Mexican-American War, and the Texas Revolution all shaped music as we know it today…well in the 90s.
